Okay, so here's my thought about language testing and assessment subject..

First of all, this subject is about testing..

Well, by mentioning testing, what comes out in my mind is, GRADES!

The thing is, each time I attended the class, I always thought about my MUET subject.

How the hell do these people in lembaga peperiksaan grade my paper.

Then Dr. Lee introduced this R.V statement.

Reliability and Validity.

The moment I wrote this blog, he's somehow presenting the objective and subjective testing, he said that reliability would be difficult to achieve in subjective testing.

I agree with that point, my essay in MUET is full of craps, how the hell I get marks?

Maybe it's my luck, yes?

When it comes to the objective item, huh!

I might laughing at this scenario but, I actually laughing at myself.
I will be the one who conduct this testing..

Validity as you can see is the answers..
Correct answer means high validity.
Those scored students must have a high validity answers, for sure.
The thing is,  as Dr. Lee mentioned, knowledge in examination do not guaranteed your successful career.
I agree with that, but as I see in my classroom right now, those DEAN LIST honored students  has the I.Q and E.Q, compared to me who only has the gut and craps, haha.

Aaaaand, that's how I only got a B- for this paper..
